🌍 A world of mutual understanding through mountain tourism
On 29 May, the International Mountain Tourism Day 2024 themed event will be held in Nice, France, organised by the International Mountain Tourism Alliance – IMTA.
With the theme "Mutual understanding among civilizations through mountain tourism", the day will include an opening ceremony, conferences, exchanges and exhibitions.
With a welcome Dinner on May 28, this event is part of the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the relationship between China and France.
Recently, serge koenig and Yang Xiaohua climbed Mont Blanc, symbolizing Franco-Chinese cooperation. To promote cultural exchanges, IMTA will organize an art exhibition.
Our President, abdou Belgat and the Secretary General Djibril Fofana, will represent Association Mondiale pour l'Éducation et la Formation Hôtelière et Touristique. It’s an opportunity for the association to solidify its relations with its partners committed to mountain tourism and preservation of the environment.
It is alongside great leaders – Ministers and President of the region, representatives of IMTA, local and international institutions that they will take part in the various activities. Thematic forums will address the challenges of climate change on mountain tourism, with experts proposing solutions for sustainable tourism. 🏔️
The International Day of Mountain Tourism, initiated in 2018, has become a key platform for the development of sustainable tourism.
